As the days become longer and our summer vacation plans solidify, there’s just one thing on our minds: sandal buying. Finding a new pair of cute sandals for women, though, might present its own difficulties. One, they are generally less comfortable than shoes or boots, and two, we often have to replace them after only one summer, leading us to wonder if they were truly worth the money.
For the benefit of our feet, we dove headfirst into the best that the internet offered in terms of shoe selection and investigated styles that are not only fashionable but also comfortable enough to walk a mile in without complaint. We rounded together various shoes that fit easily into your current shoe collection, including slides, wedges, and strappy styles.
Most Comfortable and Cute Sandals for Women
Journee Foam Diannah Sandals
This shoe features a square toe, similar to that found on high-end, cute sandals for women by designers like Bottega Veneta. The shoe’s upper is crafted from vegan leather and showcases a knotted band, creating a contemporary and subtly stylish appearance. Even though a single strap may not seem like much, you can be assured that your feet will be comfy in these shoes thanks to the 4 mm of Tru Comfort Foam in the insoles.
Hermès Oran Sandal
The Hermès Oran Sandals are undoubtedly the world’s most renowned pair of cute sandals for women. You’ll have these for a long time, so even though they’re pricey, they’re an investment that will grow in value over time. The upper and the sole are crafted from authentic Italian calfskin leather, a high-quality material used by the Parisian label. Unlike some of the cheaper slides we discuss here, these have extra padding around the heel for step assistance, making them much more wearable. These are cute sandals for women with 30 color options, but prices and fabrics may vary, so it’s essential to research before purchasing.
Nordstrom Carolina Slide Sandal
These Carolina Slide Sandals are another option with a similar design. These cute sandals for women are as essential and chic as they are snug around the foot. The leather vamp straps interlock to provide a distinctive, fashionable, and supportive look. Shoes with a square toe are stylish and more accommodating for those with broader feet. However, sizes 11 and up are only available as full sizes, whereas the brand offers half sizes for sizes 5 to 10.
Pelle Moda Becall Slide
The Pelle Moda Becall Slide, with its polka-dot satin upper, is a cute sandals for women and a good way to draw attention to your feet. After being sent a pair to test out, writer Bianca Kratky was impressed by how they contrasted with the rest of her predominantly black wardrobe. The top of the semi-narrow band is rounded off with a cute bow, providing unexpectedly soft comfort to the foot. We wouldn’t recommend these for extended days of walking because of the lack of arch support; the slide style is reminiscent of the Journee shoe we discussed.
Coperni Wedge Sandal
The high, 3.75-inch wedge of these pastel Coperni Wedge Sandals gradually tapers to a slight two-inch curve, making them an excellent match for any Y2K-inspired outfit. Each stride will feel better as it conforms to the shape of your foot. Even though they are slightly elevated from the ground, these shoes are pretty comfortable, thanks to the strap padding. However, this hue is easily soiled, so be mindful of how you treat it each time you wear it.
